Granting Access to Advisors and Team Members
Equipath allows you to share access to specific entities with advisors, accountants, attorneys, or team members — without giving them your encryption key.
How Sharing Works
When you share an entity, Equipath re-encrypts the relevant data with a shared key that both you and your advisor can access. Your main encryption key is never shared.
Inviting Someone
- Go to Settings → Sharing (or the Sharing tab).
- Click Invite Advisor / Team Member.
- Enter their email address.
- Select which entities they can access.
- Choose their permission level (Viewer, Editor, or Admin).
- Click Send Invitation.
The invited person will receive an email to create or log in to their Equipath account.

Revoking Access
To revoke access, go to Settings → Sharing, find the person, and click Remove Access. Their access is revoked immediately.
Note: When you revoke access, any cached data on their device will no longer decrypt successfully.
